  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake according to the package directions until crispy and golden.
  3. Remove the tots from the oven and immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Return the baking sheet to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, just until the cheese is melted.
  5. Transfer the loaded tater tots to a serving platter or keep them on the baking sheet for serving.
  6. Top with crumbled bacon, sliced green onions, dollops of sour cream, and a drizzle of ranch dressing.

Notes
