Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • small bowl
  • whisk
  • pastry brush
  • aluminum foil
  • oven

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls, then top with the Swiss cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  5. Brush or pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders, making sure it reaches the edges.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the butter mixture soak into the rolls for a few minutes before baking. You can substitute honey ham or provolone cheese if desired.
